Since daughter Sonam got a dream offer from Sanjay Leela Bhansali in his film ' Saawariya ', father Anil Kapor's has been really anxious about the success of her debut vehicle. As a personal contribution, to ensure the success, he vowed to give up smoking till the film is released.
Kapoor is waiting anxiously for November 9 when 'Saawariya' will be released. "Soon after, I'll definitely smoke a cigarette," he says with a smile.

Recently in a candid interview Big B, Amitabh Bachchan said that though he is very happy that Ash is the part of his family and more like his daughter but she can't replace his own daughter, Shweta .
He said, “It's fantastic! I feel I've got back my daughter in the house. But no one can take Shweta's place in my life. She's my daughter. But yes, my Bahu is like another daughter in the house. It's wonderful to have her around. We're all extremely happy. And I hope she's happy too.”

Actor Bobby Deol has been under the constant scanner since his last release Apne. And now he is ready with his new flick Nanhe Jaisalmer. The high point of this one is that the film has become tax free in Rajasthan even before its release.
Nanhe Jaisalmer stars Bobby Deol, Katrina Kaif, Vatsal Seth and Dwij Yadav. Directed and co-written by Sameer Karnik, the film’s music has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya and lyrics penned by Sameer.

Urmila Matondkar is very excited to bag the role of an unfaithful lover Kamini, played by Simi in the original Karz. To be directed by Satish Kaushik, the remake will have Urmila in two get-ups – a younger one and an older one.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty walked the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week ( WIFW) ramp for Tarun Tahiliani's collection From Kutch to Kenya and left the audience spellbound.
She was aglow in a flowing golden drape dress and a gold headband and waistband completed the look. "People say that by bringing a celebrity on the ramp, a designer can get away with any kind of collection but that is not true. The drape evening dress was designed only keeping her in mind," Tahiliani said after the show on Thursday evening.

Farah Khan will recreate the magic of 70's by presenting her new girl, Deepika Padukone romancing with the 70's legends Sunil Dutt, Rajesh Khanna and Jeetendra in her forthcoming flick, Om Shanti Om. Farah Khan has left no stone unturned to give realistic essence to the film. All this was made possible with SFX.
Farah added that SFX had been used in the song where Deepika dances with Sunil Dutt, Jeetendra and Rajesh Khanna. Deepika plays the character of a star from the 70's era, and thus, dances around the leading actors of that decade.

While we have talked a lot about the two other leading heroes, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan (their getup, hairstyle etc), here is something about one of the most important TASHAN characters, being played by the 'jhakaas' actor, Anil Kapoor (reportedly a negative).
As per unit sources and media reports, TASHAN will see Anil Kapoor playing a rickshawaala from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, who makes it big in the city. There is also a buzz that apart from his shaven and tattoed chest, Anil may create nostalgia, with his 'Lakhan' look, from Subhash Ghai's blockbuster hit, RAM LAKHAN.

Shilpa has completed her shoot for her Yoga DVD under her production house 'S2 Global Production'. The shooting took place in Kerala, India and it's a two hour DVD which will be available at the end of the year in UK and Dubai first and later in USA, India, Australia and Germany. "The shoot is over, editing will begin soon, and the DVD will be ready to be released and marketed by this year end", says her publicist Dale Bhagwagar.
Bhagwagar continues, "The shoot was very successful and Shilpa had a rollicking time doing the Asans. It’s a way of life for her and she practices yoga every day, but shooting for the DVD was extra fun, especially because she got a chance to partake in the shoots at lovely locations in Kerala."

Pakistani actress Meera, who debuted in Mahesh Bhatt’s controversial film Nazar, has often been doing the disappearing act from Bollywood. Now the actress has resurfaced again and that too with a Canadian passport. The actress says she acquired this passport with the help of her industry friends Adnan Sami and Rikku Rakeshnath.
“I wanted to visit the country freely whenever I could. I didn’t want to land in trouble like the other artistes. Now I can easily visit any part of the world. But I have decided to settle in Mumbai like Adnan Sami. Mumbai is one of the best places to live in with utmost freedom,” says the actress. When asked whether the actress was still single Meera smiled and says, “Yes I am single and ready to mingle. I am looking for a boyfriend. But, I have to be comfortable with the man before tying the knot. I would not like my marriage to fall apart later.”

Farah is very excited about the ad campaign and cannot stop raving about her sister.
