The Dhak-Dhak girl, the dancing diva Madhuri Dixit is up for yet another comeback with a more intense and a seriouse film. She will be playing the role of Indira Gandhi in a biopic in director Krishna Shah’s forthcoming film MOTHER. The film was announced in Los Angeles on 19th November. It is also rumored that Hollywood biggies like Tom Hanks, Tommy Lee Jones are being approached for the film for roles of Richard Nixon, Lyndon Johnson. Read the rest of this entry »

Madhuri Dixit comeback film ‘Aaja Nach Le’ may not have minted gold at the box office but Madhuri did get rave reviews for her performance in the film. Now, the actress has reportedly given a positive nod to director Prakash Mehra’s next project where she will be seen opposite the current heartthrob of Bolly fans, Ranbir Kapoor. Madhuri Dixit, who had reigned as the queen of Bollywood for a pretty long period, has been chosen for the prestigious Padma Shri Award for her contribution to the Indian Cinema which will be given to her on May 10. The "Unforgettable" concerts in July that will see the Bachchan clan of Bollywood perform live across Europe and United States has new glamour quotient. Madhuri’s comeback film Aaja Nachle didn’t exactly set the box office on fire and now we hear that Mrs. Madhuri Dixit Nene is having a serious second thought of taking up more work. “She’s upset that her grand comeback did little to revive her comeback and she doesn’t want her film to land up like this,” says one of her friend. Our advice to all those producers who are waiting with signing amounts to think of a quick replacement...

Though there have been many articles (in the print media), that have talked about the dancing queen, Madhuri Dixit's so called forthcoming projects (after her latest, AAJA NACHLE), but we can only term them as speculative assumptions.
