Buoyed by the success of "Jannat", Percept Picture Company (PPC), which released the film, has signed on the leading man Emran Hashmi for a three-film deal worth Rs.150 million. At least that’s what the figure says. While the big budget movies like Tashan and Bhootnath couldn’t create much magic on screen, the audience surely are left mesmerized by this not-so-big-budget movie. While the promotion of JANNAT has always maintained that the film is about the ugly side of the cricket world, on and off one also gets to hear and see about the supposedly steamy scenes between film's leads Emraan Hashmi and Sonal Chauhan. Mukesh Bhatt has decided to push the release of his ambitious venture JANNAT ahead by two weeks. Initially slated for release on May 2, Bhatt wants to bring the film on May 16. "I learnt a bitter lesson during AWARAPAN. The film suffered because of its clash with the two films that opened simultaneously [APNE, AAP KAA SURROOR].
