2007 was an eventful year for Bobby Deol. He had five releases in a row - SHAKALAKA BOOM BOOM, JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM, APNE, NAQAAB and NANHE JAISALMER - and though except for APNE, none of the remaining films worked at the box office, Bobby was appreciated in most of them. Actor Bobby Deol has been under the constant scanner since his last release Apne. And now he is ready with his new flick Nanhe Jaisalmer. The high point of this one is that the film has become tax free in Rajasthan even before its release.
Nanhe Jaisalmer stars Bobby Deol, Katrina Kaif, Vatsal Seth and Dwij Yadav. Directed and co-written by Sameer Karnik, the film’s music has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya and lyrics penned by Sameer.

For the Deols, the celebrations are still in progress as their Apne has resurrected a few sinking careers. Sunny is ready to plunge into film making with people whom he believes are disciplined.
Sunny says, “Today I’m very clear on what I want. All the people creating cinema around me has to be as disciplined as me. Except Bobby, all of us wake up early and get to work.”

Rajshri Productions has roped in Bobby Deol to play the lead role in the remake of Tapasya. According to our sources, Vidya Balan is a strong contender for the female lead. According to a close source, “Sooraj Barjatya feels Bobby’s acting potential has not been explored and he will certainly suit the role.”
The plot of Tapasya revolves around womanhood and the ancient culture of India.

The Apne combo of father Dharmendra and sons Sunny and Bobby would team up for another film. "That's true! It took us more than a decade to get the right script. A story published in a tabloid suggesting that Shilpa Shetty is upset with the Deols - Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby - for not allowing her to watch the premiere of "Apne" with them has Shilpa astounded. "On the contrary I'm more miffed with this fabrication than anything the Deols did or didn't do. I love the Deols, specially Dharamji, to death," Shilpa told from Paris. "Why would they treat me badly? And why would I take offence about the seating arrangement? The truth is Shamita and I had to attend a family function at night.
