Come March and Anuraag Singh would be launched by Subhash Ghai in his upcoming film BLACK & WHITE. Though he plays a terrorist in this hard-hitting drama that has Anil Kapoor leading the charge, buzz is that he has also signed another project titled DIPLOMA. The film would be directed by Somnath Sen who had made his big screen debut six years back with LEELA (Dimple Kapadia) and followed it up with Rati Agnihotri starrer FAISLA (2005).
Though not much is known about the project, as the title suggests, the film has education as the underlying central theme.

With a lean season at Bollywood currently, one of the few films which is making people sit up and take notice is RACE. Its high adrenalin actions sequences are boasting of an international appeal while an unusual combination of multi star cast is intriguing too. One such combination is that of veteran Anil Kapoor with Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna. While Saif and Akshaye had a great camaraderie demonstrated in DIL CHAHTA HAI, Anil Kapoor has acted with Saif and Akshaye only once earlier. Read the rest of this entry »

One such factor is the pairing of Anil Kapoor and Sameera Reddy who are returning together 3 years after MUSAFIR. Their chemistry in MUSAFIR was much appreciated and no one seemed to be complaining about the age difference of the couple. Read the rest of this entry »

WELCOME has turned out to be the last super hit of 2007 and is now a worthy competitor to surpass the total collections of films like CHAK DE INDIA and PARTNER (both in the range of 60-65 crores). While the 85 crore total of OM SHANTI OM may not really be manageable, the film is truly on its way to be the biggest ever grosser of Akshay Kumar. While this is quite good for Akshay because the film consolidates his box office status with due respect to the pull that he managed for WELCOME, the fact remains that Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor have turned out to be the biggest stars and gainers of WELCOME.
