Ta Ra Rum Pum is a film Siddharth Anand, director of Salaam Namaste, and stars Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerjee, Jaaved Jaffrey, Shruti Seth and Victor Banerjee. It's about the life a race car driver and his family, how the ups and downs in his career affects his life and family's, and how they tackle the down moments. I think it is to be released on 27th April.

The music of TaRa Rum Pum is by Vishal & Shekhar, who also did Salaam Namaste's music. This is another good addition to their portfolio. This one has a treat for kids which is the title song.

Awarapan is the latest film from Mohit Suri (director of Woh Lamhe). It stars Emraan Hashmi, Shriya Saran and Rehan Khan.

Awarapan's music is by Pritam. He's come up with a couple of pretty good songs for this album. Toh Phir Aao and Mahiya sung by Mustafa Zahid and Suzanne respectively are quite good. I hope you enjoy this album.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa is directed by Priyadarshan and stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Amisha Patel, Shiny Ahuja, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani for major roles.

Pritam has composed the scores for Bhool Bhulaiyaa. I can't say much about this film, as I know nothing and haven't had a chance to listen to the songs either. I just hope it's good and that you all like it.

Ladies and gentlemen, the wait is over!!! Music of King Khan's latest movie, Chak De India, is here! In this film Shahrukh Khan plays the role of the coach of national hockey team, who takes his team in to World Cup. It is directed by Shmit Amin. Vidya Malvade also plays a major role in film, I think that of a hockey player who dreams of playing for the National Team. Just a guess. Chak De India is one of the major movies of the year under the Yash Raj Movies banner, and it's produced by the Chopras. BTW, this is SRK's first muslim role and accroding to IMDB.com, he grew the beard in order to look more muslim-like.

The music directors of Chak De are Salim and Sulaiman Merchant. I personally like the songs from this film, except the parts sung by SRK himself ;) They have done a good job. I hope you like it too.

Based on the Will Smith starring Hollywood film Hitch, Partner features Salman Khan, Govinda, Lara Dutta, and Katrina Kaif in the leading roles. It is directed by David Dhawan. Here Sallu is the 'love guru' which leaves Govinda to be the one who needs a make-over to win one of the leading ladies' heart. It's meant to be a comedy film, and I hope that the makers have loaded it with some nice and smart jokes. We've had a little too much of stupid jokes recently, mostly last year.

The man responsible for the music of Partner is Sajid Wajid. It's a pretty fast-paced and loud album with too much bass. If you have a good sound system, big subs with a good amplifier, you can blow your roof off with these songs. And I think that's all they can do, they're neither lyrically good nor musically exceptional. Just loud and in your face, rather in your ear drums. No award nominations for Wajid this year. Have a listen yourselves, and see what I mean.

JBJ is a film directed by Shad Ali and stars Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Lara Dutta, Bobby Deol and Amitabh Bachchan. Behold ladies and gentlemen! Music of the biggest movie of the year is here, and I am absolutely thrilled to say that you and I are among the very first to listen to them. As you already know, Om Shanti Om is the highly expected movie by Farah Khan starring the one and only Shahrukh Khan along with Deepika Padukone, Shreyas Talpade, Arjun Rampal and Kiron Kher playing the important roles. So far I know only what you all know about the film, if you have seen the trailers that is. Shahrukh is presented with an all new look, amazingly ripped body with stunning six-packs and a new hair style. There's also another treat in store for us all, more than 30 big names of Bollywood are to feature in one of the songs!! What else can we say except THANK YOU FARAH AND SHAHRUKH FOR ANOTHER GREAT FILM!!!

Music of Om Shanti Om is directed by the wonderful duo Vishal-Shekhar. I'm listening to Dard-e-Disco as I'm writing this and it's a superb song. I have listened to all of them, and I absolutely love them (most of 'em, not all ;p). Great music and great lyrics penned down by Javed Aktar himself. SO don't wait and start downloading!!!!

For the second time in more than a decade, the final accounts of the film industry are not showing a red mark! Believe it or not, but the film industry made an overall profit of Rs. 20 crores in 2007. Although the figure of 20 crore is not at all impressive, it is the second time in last 10 years that the industry has shown profit. The last time that happened (during the last decade) was in 2006.The success ratio of Bollywood films has always been less than 20 percent. In 2007, the percentage of successful films was just 11.1 percent. However, the 28 successful films, out of the 253 released, made more money than the losses incurred by the remaining 225 films.
