Apparently, though it is still slightly premature to confirm, Sanjay Leela Bhansali plans to go the historical route with Amitabh Bachchan by his side for a film based on unsung hero titled 'Chenab Gandhi'.

However, it seems that the film will actually be directed by his assistant Vibhu Puri who worked with him during Saawariya. Sanjay really likes his assistants, no? First Sonam and now Vibhu! Rumour also has it that Ranbir Kapoor was offered a role in the film as well but politely declined. However, it is unknown whether he declined simply because he doesn't have the dates or because he didn't think a historical film was right for his youthful image at this stage of the game.

Like it or not, an SLB is always special. Let's hope this one is too. But I'm wondering, what colour scheme will it be this time around? Pink-Purple? Yellow-Orange? I vote red and green.
