Their recent LAAGA CHUNARI MEIN DAAG setback not withstanding, Yash Raj Films are very much in the thick of things. An important portion of their ambitious action project, TASHAN, was shot earlier this month at Mumbai's Film City. Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan (amongst others) participated in the Vijay Krishna Acharya directed film. As was obvious from the day of its official announcement, TASHAN, featuring top stars like Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, was always going to be Yash Raj's first release of 2008. And as per our trade sources, TASHAN is all set to release, sometimes in April 2008. As always our disclaimer - release dates can change even at the eleventh hour! However, one must add that Yash Raj stick to their schedule in most cases.
