Aftab-Koel surprise with their on-screen chemistry

An untested pairing that has gained good appreciation from everyone who has watched the film, Aftab and Keol look good together mainly due to their uninhibited natural act. Right from the moment when the two start off on a wrong note [they meet through a matrimonial website and Aftab lies about his social status] followed by Aftab's frequent wooing of Koel to their eventual marriage, struggle to run their household and experiencing parenthood, everything happens with a smile which only aids in bringing on lighter moments in this emotion-packed film.
To the credit of Aftab, his performance shines in the film in spite of its multistarrer appeal which proves yet again that the young actor never fails to deliver when it comes to a film by Vikram Bhatt. Their track record of having worked together in 7-8 films so far only proves so!
On the other hand Koel Purie, in spite of being handicapped by an inconsistent makeup in the first half, does well to let Bollywood know once again that she is capable of enacting diverse roles even when it comes to mainstream cinema.

| Aftab Shivdasani is one of the very few genious jewels in Bollywood as far as his acting is concerned. He is a terrific actor with genuine innocence and awesome personality who bears the potential to be a legend some day.And he's one of the most versatile veteran actors of India.Though he has done many great films under Vikram Bhatt,it will be wrong to say those are his only good films coz apart from them he has done many awesome films from other banners like Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega which was directed by E.Niwas, Muskaan directed by Rohit-Manish, Kya Yehi Pyar Hain directed by K.Murli Mohan Rao, Shukriya directed by Anupam Sinha, Dus Kahaniyaan's short story Lovedale directed by Jasmeet Dhodi, Darwaza Bandh Rakho directed by J.D. Chekravarthy and Koi Aap Sa directed by Partho Mitra. |
